How we rank crypto cards

Our goal is simple: give you the same information you'd get from a friend in the industry — facts, no marketing spin, no hidden agenda.

What we measure

Every card on this site is scored across the same set of attributes: cashback rate (both headline and realistic), foreign-exchange markup, ATM and top-up fees, supported countries, supported chains, custody model, and tier structure. We collect this data directly from each issuer's published terms.

How we verify

Each card record carries a last verified date. We re-check fees and availability on a rolling basis, with a target of revisiting every card at least once a quarter and high-volume cards monthly. When issuers change pricing, we update within days.

For metrics like transaction volume, we use third-party data from Paymentscan where available. Volumes are inherently incomplete — only on-chain settlement is observable, and many cards settle off-chain. We label this limitation clearly on every chart.

Realistic cashback rates

Every card advertises a "headline" cashback rate. In practice, the rate most users receive is lower — because the headline rate often requires the highest staking tier, is paid in a volatile token that subsequently depreciates, or comes with monthly caps that affect anyone spending meaningfully.

For each card with cashback, we publish both the headline rate (what marketing says) and the realistic rate (what most users will actually earn after token volatility, tier requirements, and caps are accounted for).

Editorial neutrality

Affiliate links and direct (non-affiliate) signup links are treated identically in our interface. There is no paid placement, no boost for cards we have a commercial relationship with, and no influencer arrangements.

Where we do have an affiliate relationship, the link is marked rel="sponsored" in the HTML — Google's recommended convention for transparent affiliate disclosure.

What we do not do

Found something wrong?

If you spot an error or out-of-date rate, please tell us. The cards listed are constantly changing, and you may have more current information than we do.
